So, I haven't updated my journal since November of 2010...seems to me like it's time for an update. : )

Junior year is done. Finally. I can't tell you how much stress there was having Sherman for both Art III and Photo I. The thematic series we started second quarter (8 finished pieces), the quarterly journal pages which instead of decreasing in number with the added take-home work of the thematics increased (12 pages per quarter), as well as the thumbnails/brainstorming and various other journal assignments for both classes, and the photojournal work namely the quarterly Masters of Photography assignment (3 2-page spreads about chosen master photographers, including biography, reason they were chosen, and a critique of one of their photos). Those are two classes that should not be stressful, especially not in high school. I'm definitely not taking them next year. Photo was a help in understanding more about the mechanics of photography but I definitely think I'll be going  back to working mainly with my friends. As for drawing, well I hope to start doing comissions when school starts up in the fall. So I'll probably be on my other account more than usual. : )

Seeing as school is out that means that it's summer. XD And so far it has been amazing. : D The first few days after school got out I went to the river a few times with my friends and then this weekend a couple friends and I went to Kings Dominion (left friday, came home sunday) and it was amazing. My parents told me that they took me once but apparently I was in a stroller so this was my first time really going to Kings Dominion. I have to say it's pretty kick ass. : ) Then when I got home I've spent the past two days just hanging out with my Camel : D (a.k.a .). I want to do a photoshoot with her some time this week, we were goofing around doing each other's make up today and she had to leave before we could take the pictures. : ( It really sucked because our make up came out really well. Oh well we'll do it again later this week hopefully. : ) This weekend I'm going to the beach with my aunt, and should be back on monday, then the sunday after that I believe Camel, my family and I are all going back up to the beach for the whole week. : ) I'm so psyched to take Camel with me, the beach is one of my favorite places, it's the same beach I took Tabbie to where we took the beach shots that are in my gallery. After that I don't exactly know when anything is happening, we're going up to the lake at some point in august and I'm going to New York with my friend Deb and we're going to go to every art museum and gallery that we can find. : D We're going up for i think three or four days, it's going to be so much fun. I almost didn't get to go 'cause I needed no D's on my final report card, and I just barely got it. XD I'm so fuckin' psyched. Other than that and trying to fit in all the projects I have planned for this summer I can't really think of anything else. : )

So...uhmm...if you've read this far...tell me what kind of things I should do for comissions later this year. : )
